As a Construction Laborer, you'll play a key role of an installation team getting completed awnings and shade structures in place. The team will install new structures on building exteriors, set posts and construct standalone structures, or help measure or remove old structures. Construction Laborer are full-time field service positions in the Dallas area. After 90 days of work, the employee will be eligible to receive benefits.
This is a great opportunity to build experience, gain skills and grow within the company. The ideal candidate is an experienced construction laborer with the ability to operate equipment, lead crew members through the completion of a job and reliably accomplish all tasks.
Experience installing shade structures such as awnings and car park shade covers is a plus but not required.
Sign installation and other experience welcomed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Quick learner capable of following and providing directions and works well in a team
- Hard worker who takes pride in their work with a positive attitude willing to do what it takes to complete the job
- Comfortable working off of a ladder/lifts, proficient in operating power tools and some heavy machinery e.g., skid-steers, mini-x, telehandler/forklift, boom lift.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
You will use a wide variety of equipment, tools and construction equipment to dig, assemble, hang, and finish structures outside and often at heights. The work requires lifting, climbing, digging and being physically active outside for 8+ hours per day. Hours are usually between 7a and 5p, M-F, but can vary depending on the site and project. Travel may be required for some jobs outside of the Dallas area. Saturday overtime work may be included.
