Please don't flag my post for no reason. This is hard but I can no longer keep my dog. I don't want him to go to a shelter. He's a shih tzu I rescued by accident years ago in Los Angeles and now I need to pass the torch. I've had him for a long time but I've never lived alone with him before so I wasn't anticipating this problem. He needs attention that I can't provide. I've tried everything I could but turns out this is a very unhealthy situation for both of us and I would really love to see him go to a loving family. The ideal family for him would be one with people for him to be around. That's pretty much all he needs. He likes everyone. He doesn't need affection 24/7 but he likes to follow you around and lay by your feet or just know that someone is there. He's very chill and sleeps a lot because he's kind of old lol but he's also active and gets hyper at times especially when it's time to go outside. He does have a cataract in one of his eyes but the Vet says he can still see out of it just not perfectly. He rarely barks and never chews on anything so you never have to worry about that. He is neutered, chipped and crate trained though I usually leave him out.
