The Iron Spike Model Train Museum at 1498 High St Washington, MO 63090 now has volunteer openings in all areas of operation. Have you ever wanted to work on the railroad? Now you can. Volunteers support the daily operation of the museum. Some act as tour guides, some operate the model trains, some act in an administrative capacity. Others work on the web, selling museum assets through E-Bay and Face Book. If that is not large enough for you, we also are restoring a real caboose and are looking for people who can paint and repair. Skills and Knowledge are not requirements for volunteering at the Iron Spike. The desire to help, to care for our many visitors and become an active member of the community are all that are needed.
