I have two rescue birds, one green quaker and one sun cap conure that are in need of an experienced owner. Bird 1 - green quaker - 9 years old. Male. He came from a really bad situation, and is pretty cage aggressive. He talks a tiny bit, but it's impossible to understand unless you know what he's saying. He will bite if given the chance. He doesn't fly well, but also doesn't try unless something is wrong. He is super attentive and will expect a ton of attention. He watches TV a great deal, and listens to music every day. Bird 2 - sun cap conure - about 27 years old, though I have no real way to know. I took her in about 5 years ago and was told she was 21 at the time. She is a female, however she no longer lays eggs. She is absolutely beautiful and doesn't look like an old bird. She is somewhat tame. She doesn't really talk, and likely never will, but she seems to understand a ton of things. She is extremely loud, protective, and alert. She has separation anxiety and doesn't like to be left alone. She has never drawn blood on anyone and rarely bites, however the Quaker has made her cage aggressive to a point. They are housed together and have been for over 5 years. No wing clipping.
