E-Bike Technicians are focused on helping us keep our vehicles on the road and delivering safe, reliable rides to riders across our cities. As a technician, you’ll work with technology to assist in servicing and repairing the fleet and track important vehicle diagnostics. This is a part-time role hired directly with Wheels that will be based out of our Austin Warehouse with plenty of room to grow!! What You'll Do: Diagnose incoming bikes and route them to the appropriate department for service Adjust bike parts, such as adjusting brake calipers, and rotors Maintain bike parts, such as filling tires with air and/or replacing them Perform quality checks on bikes Use our app to test ride bikes to ensure they meet our standards and are ready for the road Assist with other miscellaneous duties around the warehouse such as battery charging, assist the team in unloading new bikes What You'll Need: A smartphone and experience using mobile technology Excellent skills with hand tools and the ability to lift over 40 pounds, repeatedly Strong organizational and time management skills Flexible schedule and able to regularly work on weekends Ability to self-manage and also work well in a team environment Prior related experience (such as micro-mobility or mechanic experience) may be eligible for senior roles Nice to have: Experience repairing electric scooters or bikes is a plus!
