NEED HELP WITH A PLACE TO LIVE

My wife and I are disabled, we moved here after selling our home and are desperately trying to find a place to live that will accept our service dog. We are quiet, drug and drama free, no kids, it's just the two of us and our APBT service dog. What is with this "no pets" policy and negative bias towards pet owners? We have been living at a Hotel in North Myrtle beach for a month, and at $4000.00 a month it's killing us. Is there anyone here that can help us out? or know anyone that can point us in the right direction? or is it just the wrong time of the year to be anywhere near here now that season is upon us? We are looking for a small cottage in the country or an apartment 1br-1br that doesn't have breed restrictions.
