And, we have an immediate opening for a full-time Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager with Logistics, Shipping and Warehouse experience to help manage our growing “repurposedMATERIALS” branch in Maquoketa, IA. This is a hands-on material handling position that will be responsible for ensuring perfect receiving of products and inventory reporting and control, boxing and preparing products for shipping, loading and unloading customers and semi- trailers with forklift, keeping warehouse organized, stocking product on pallets, using a pallet jack and similar activities. Must have 3 PL shipping, warehouse and supervisory experience as you will supervise one or more warehouse associates. Must have clean driving record. You will report to our local Branch Manager The following requirements are a must: * Ability to engage with customers and answer product questions and complete sales transactions. *Ability to load materials on trucks, trailers and commercial LTL carriers. * Experience in inventory control, accuracy is critical. *Experience supervising direct report employees. *Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Xcel and Quick Books. *Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented. *Experience working in a warehouse, customer service, sales environment. * Ability to lead by example and work well independently and with team members. Show initiative. *Ability to meet daily deadlines. *Must be able to lift 50 lbs. *Forklift experience.
