PIANIST/KEYS needed for INDIE ROCK/POP/FOLK cover band

Newly forming cover band searching for an experienced or novice pianist/keyboardist (25-50 yr old) interested in taking a trip on a musical journey into the unknown. There is no band that I know of locally doing what we are setting out to accomplish. We’re going to be a large numbered group, that does covers/mashups of hits from mostly this past millennium. Heavily focusing on the Indie Rock/Pop/Folk movement of the early 2000’s… Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros Of Monsters And Men The Lumineers Arcade Fire Modest Mouse The Flaming Lips The Head And The Heart Feist Foster The People The White Stripes The Black Keys Vance Joy Houndmouth Gorillaz Peter Bjorn & John Gotye Spoon Fitz & The Tantrums Vampire Weekend Rilo Kiley Lord Huron Portugal, The Man The Killers The Shins The Strumbellas And many more… If you have other musical abilities outside of keys that is always a plus. Singing, banjo, slide whistle… etc… We’ll have a dedicated rehearsal studio to get all of the material whipped into shape. As the pianist you’ll be expected to know your material and make every effort to try and help replicate these songs as best you can. I have been doing live music most of my life and have little time for individuals that don’t want to learn the material, don’t want to be a team player, or engage in reckless or excessive alcohol & drug use. We will be able to take this outfit to some really interesting places with the right individuals. Bookings and all management duties will be handled by myself. I just need a great pianist with a PASSION for this genre of music to be willing to take this leap with me… Please submit an example of your PAINO ability either via Sound Cloud, YouTube etc, you can even just record a video on your cell and submit that if the former doesn’t apply.
