We are a locally owned boat repair company specializing in wooden boat repair, maintenance and retrofit services. Currently we have a opening for a shop helper 30-40 hrs a week, and a full time carpenter. Descriptions as follows SHOP HELPER The primary roll of this position is to assist and support the shipwrights in their daily activities. This includes but is not limited to cleaning, sanding, carrying materials, shop organization and some light carpentry. Experience is not necessary but some carpentry or construction experience is preferred. Compensation is $15-20 an hour with long term potential for growth within the company. This is a great position for anyone interested in boats and boating. CARPENTER This is an entry level carpentry position with room to learn and grow within the company. Experience with table saw, chop saw, and powered hand tools is required for this position. Compensation $20-30 and this is a full time position.
