Supports a beautiful landscape environment by ensuring proper quality of care of plant life, including all planting, fertilizing, trimming of trees and hedging of shrubs, planting flower beds and setting up flowerbeds, and mowing grass areas. 2. Ensures a high level of grounds protection/policing by collecting, loading, hauling trash and cuttings. 3. Operates manual and powered grounds keeping equipment while following all safety measures. 4. Supports department by assisting in various landscaping projects. 5. Performs grounds maintenance work including spraying for insects and weeds. 6. Supports additional needs for any light housekeeping or custodial duties as necessary. 7. Other additional related duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of six months experience in lawn maintenance required. Two or more years of experience highly preferred. Valid Driver’s License required.
