eSalon is looking for a Sanitech / to support the upkeep of our dispensing and compounding equipment in our Manufacturing Facility in El Segundo, CA. We are looking to fill the Swing Shift, Monday- Friday, 3:30PM-12AM. As an essential business, we have been open and thriving during the Covid-19 pandemic. We are practicing all safety measures to keep our team healthy. Responsibilities: Support of all day-to-day production operations in our manufacturing facility including but not limited to the following: - Responsible for ensuring equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to SOPs to prevent contamination that would negatively impact the quality of our products. - Responsible for channel fills, line cleaning and general line maintenance. - Assist with pre-weighs for batches or hair dye and haircare products, verifying batch details and other compounding related tasks. - Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with safety rules. - Support the R&D, Compounding and Production teams on testing and implementing processes. - Demonstrates a consistency in performing assignment right the first time to ensure as much machine up time as possible. - Follow job assignments and schedules set by manager. - Become proficient verifying that parts are in good condition and report damaged items to manager. - Inform supervision of equipment failure and schedule conflicts. - Clean and sanitary in the handling of equipment and materials. - Perform various product transfer activities to ensure efficient operations including but not limited to movement of raw materials from storage area to pre-weigh area, transfer of finished batch to totes or drums and final transfer into equipment. - Perform cycle counts on raw materials to support the compounding staff. - Wear personal protective equipment as required. - Performs general housekeeping (i.e. sweeping and mopping the floors, taking trash out, cleaning the drains, exc.) - Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years working in a manufacturing environment with hands-on experience. Precise attention to detail. Data entry and basic computer skills. Ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment. Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities, scheduling, and laying out assigned work activities. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, checklists, forms and equipment instruction manuals that are written in English. Strong safety record. Familiarity with cGMP’s, safety procedures, sanitization, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
