Caregiver needed for am shift from 8am-latest 5pm and/or Overnight shift when needed 9:30pm start time -7am. Experience with quads would be helpful however if you are a caregiver and would like to gain experience and have the patience to train and work with a quad then this is the job for you. Client is a 63 year old male who has a neurological condition called Fedriech Ataxia. Needs assistance with all ADL’s including transfer using Hoyer lift, feeding, medication pass, toileting, showering, and dressing. Driving client to appts and to church on Sundays. Client requires 24 hour care for the most part. Client has speech impediment. Must have patience to listen without interruption. Although he needs help with his everyday routine he is very sharp and extremely educated. Experience using A keyboard is a must! Experience using Hoyer lift preferred not required. Must have drivers license HCA/CNA preferred but not required. Looking for someone to work 2-4 days per week. Every week changes. We are looking to hire Atleast 2 caregivers as one of our caregivers is going on vacation and then knee surgery to follow. This is only part time position. Must be extremely flexible with availability as you may stay and work later or work more days than initially scheduled scheduled. Must be willing to work weekends including attending Catholic mass alternating Sundays with Client. Start pay is $16/hr during training. Pay will go up once training is complete.
