Celadon is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager, with a strong work ethic, excellent team building and mentoring skills, to assist in leading our Warehouse team and operations. The Assistant Warehouse Manager will be hands on while overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, dispatch of all Celadon goods, while providing leadership, direction, and motivation to the warehouse team. Requirements - Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly, and dispatch of goods - Efficiently use space for storage and display of product - Timely processing of paperwork including reports - Lead, motivate, and train warehouse staff for peak performance - Ensure productivity targets are met - Provide exceptional customer service - Communicate efficiently with managers and team members - Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment Responsibilities - Works with delegated team members to pull Stock Request items - Confirms inventory transfers matches Stock Request and item numbers are correct - Ensures items are safely loaded onto Celadon truck before they are enroute - Route, confirm, prep, and inspect deliveries - Works with store management, buyers, and sales to solve any customer issues - Run necessary reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. - Confirm, check in, and price inbound shipments and containers - Submit damage report to accounting for damaged goods, overages, shortages - Provide accurate damage claims in a proper time frame - Coordinate with Warehouse Manager to ensure proper staffing - Work with Advertising department to ensure all signage (including sale) is displayed properly Qualifications - High school or equivalent - Management experience required (1-3 years preferred) - People management skills, including the ability to lead, inspire and motivate others, delegate work - Strong organizational skills - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Confident with computerized systems: Microsoft Word, Outlook - Reliable, trustworthy, and enthusiastic - Problem-solving skills - The ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of the legal & safety requirements of operating a warehouse preferred - Clean driving record Hours - 40 hours weekly - Biweekly weekends required Compensation - $250 Sign on bonus after 30 days - Salary based - Bonus opportunities - Medical Insurance - Supplemental Insurance - Simple IRA - Vacation - Holidays - Employee Discount Know someone who would be a great fit?
