Description
Gainesville Band seeking female vocalist to perform classic rock, R&B, funk, and a bit of country. We have vocals for male leads, and harmonies but want to expand the vocal/song range. We play songs that are popular, danceable, or noteworthy in some respect. We would like to do some songs by artists like Amy Winehouse, Annie Lennox, Heart, Etta James, Gaga, B-52's, Pretenders, Carol King, Alanis Morissette, and contribute to the higher vocal harmony range on songs. Open to other artists as well within your range and interests. We have keyboard, 2 guitars, bass, drums and professional gig equipment (you will need your own mic and powered monitor). Ability to play an instrument or add percussion is welcomed. We are all seasoned players, ranging from 40's to 60's in age, no drama, and only interested playing a few gigs a month at venues in and near gainesville as a part time venture. Hoping to find the right person for this project.
