So this is not your average internship nor is for everyone but we think for the right person this could be amazing. Here we go.. We have an incredible music venue that we love. It's busy everyday till about midnight, then music stops and everyone clears out. We would like to create a late night crowd and would like an intern to help run/create fun and strange late night events(midnight till 2am Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays)... Ideas include, music jams, DJs, 90s Karoke, Mystery Mondays (thats a fun one), Burlesque, Hip Hop Cyphers with a live band... 3-4 days a week we would like to create really interesting and engaging live programing. We need someone to be on sight, organize and promote events, and someone. We will train you in how to do live sound, how to make professional promos (digital design skills are a big plus), and will provide a lot of support/knowledge. We are looking for someone engaging, someone who wants to would like to develop a career in live events or music (or something adjacent), and someone who is personable. We offer a monthly stipend, plus we will do suggested donation from patrons which goes to intern. Possibly a cut of bar sales if we are able to grow events. College credit available. 21+ much preferred. 8-10 hours a week of time. Send a little about yourself and a resume! Thanks.
