CDL Landscape Truck Driver

We are looking for a truck driver to manage our landscape trucking and dumpsters. This position requires more than just driving a truck; it's being a part of a landscaping team and supporting Colorburst to finish our work in a safe and timely manner. Responsibilities - Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance - Work with project managers and foremen to plan trucking for the day. This includes delivering crew trailers to jobsites by 8am, loading/unloading materials such as mulch, river rock, boulders, retaining wall/paver blocks, drainage material. - Helping to clean up job sites at the end of the day. Return crew trailers to company yard a the end of the day. - Manage several dumpsters; haul, unload at landfill, fill out log with information on dumpsters - Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts - Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures - Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions - Collect and verify delivery instructions - Report defects, accidents or violations Skills - Proven work experience as a truck driver - Valid CDL License, clean driving record - Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations - Ability to help out with landscape labor / manage multiple directions and lift over 50lbs - Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
