older guitarist seeking rock outfit or to put band together. Have some jazz/world/folk/blues influences but to mix into the rock universe. Looking to make 21st century music. That means I'm NOT interested in "straight blues", or folk/acoustic, or jazz standards, or any run-of-the-mill cover band. I'm not into prog-metal, but I love psychedelic music from mid 60's TO NOW. Basic theory is helpful, but primarily looking for good ears and creativity. Write, record, perform. Not in it for the money; I have a day job. Not interested in mastering someones idea of "what the people want", though accessible sounds are the starting point- doesn't have to be the end point. I don't write lyrics but can do some singing, but I'm also into instrumentals.
