We're looking to hire a Handyman for a school located in Kailua. They provide a solid foundation for Hawaii's children through excellent early childhood education programs. The Handyman will be responsible for ensuring that all buildings, grounds, and equipment are well-maintained with safety a top priority. Pay: $20 - $25/hour Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday Hours: 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch Location: Kailua, HI Benefits our employees enjoy: - Weekly paychecks! - Medical/Dental - 401k - Holiday pay - And more! Handyman Duties: - Assist Director of Facilities with work orders - Perform light maintenance and repair duties on building and grounds structures as needed - Meet with vendors to complete other maintenance repairs - Complete plumbing and electrical maintenance - Maintain tools and machinery are in good working order - Complete routine checks on all equipment - On a rotational schedule, check all fire extinguishers and smoke alarms - Assist in general custodial, and groundskeeping duties as assigned - Complete special projects when needed You would be great for this role if you: - Have a valid driver's license (will be operating company van) - At one (1) year of handyman or related experience - Basic computer knowledge (will be working with a proprietary maintenance program) To schedule an immediate phone interview, please call us at (808) 525-5225 today!
