So, only $100 million more will fix downtown?

Description

The Seasons complex on the riverfront development demands the “donation” of another $100,000,000 of your dollars. The city council has already approved your donation to the Kahn Fund. (Because your money spends much better than his!) The lame notion that you can ‘spend yourself rich’ really has taken hold with the wannabe rich boys giving them your money. It’s always the same bunch you know. They always tell the same lies about how it’s so great for the city. Did you get the opportunity to give your opinion? Go back and add up the taxpayers monies that have gone into making rich people richer. Yes, I’m referring to the biggest losers in the league. The team has financially quadrupled in value due to the constant infusion of your cash over the years. I don’t get it. The return has been abysmal. That money would have been better spent in investment into Jacksonvilles citizens and infrastructure. JEA bogus sale to make huge bonuses for several who haven’t been indicted yet. Peoplemover to nowhere would be a better true improvement over another see-thru pool for paid exhibitions. They’ve been studying how to fix McCoy creek for 40 years that I know of, and Moncrief has been the heroin center for the same amount of time with the same groups running it. Couple that with a police force that has zero accountability and less than zero transparency to its citizens. They turn on their body-cam when it’s convenient and get no discipline for not recording. Stop that citizen with the camera, quick! Republicans have done such great things for the rich here, but I haven’t seen it in my neighborhood. What I have seen scares the crap out of me! These are not my fathers republicans. Jacksonville is turning blue, not quite quick enough.
