Shiny Bright blue women's trek bike. Road tires. Black standard mountain bike style handle bars. 8 gears. Black seat with silver seat post. Stolen from 10th st south and 5th Ave in moorhead. Tuesday about 8pm. Reward if returned. No questions asked. That bike I rode every day because biking is my medicine. It's also me and both my son's favorite family activity to do- of which we do daily. It had been a gift- because there's no way I ever could have afforded such a nice bike. I'm absolutely torn in pieces because of this loss. So are my kids. That bike wasore valuable to me and my family than it will ever be to the person who stole it. I'm a person who literally would give theshirt off my back to a stranger in an instant. I don't know what instantly prompted a person to steal it right from my doorway for the moment I ran in from a ride W my oldest to make sure my youngest son had gotten home safely since he arrived home before me after an outing. But I sobbed all night. And are still holding back tears today. It wasn't just a bike that was stolen, it was literally the only hobby I've enjoyed for years, it was my stress reliever, my most loved time with my kids, it was my go to when I needed to cool down - it literally was my sanity - and my one most beloved and cherished item. That bike has gotten me through so much and lifted my spirits when nothing else wud. For God's sakes, I wouldhave given whomever a ride where ever they needed or had my son fix up ur bike if urs had broken down. I know it's a nice bike, I can't afford one either. The best gift I've ever been given. And prob never going to get the chance to get one again. Biking was my passion, fir which I had only realized when I had hopped on that bike - it fit me like a glove and was so lightweight it felt like a part of me. A piece of me has truly been taken from my soul. Please if anyone sees a shiny kinda teal blue trek bike w road tires, a black seat and regular black Mt bike handle bars.
