LEVITTOWN, NY — Voters in the Levittown School District took to the polls today and approved the district's proposed 2022-23 budget.
The budget passed 1,340 to 829. Residents also approved a proposition to create a capital reserve fund1,328 to 759.
In addition to the budget, residents also cast votes for Board of Education trustees. Incumbent trustees Peggy Marenghi and Christina Lang were reelected, earning 1,134 and 1,124 votes, respectively. Challengers Joseph Fradella and Jen Murphy Packer earned 764 and 617 votes, respectively.
