The 'race' for the rest of us! The course might not be .08K, but you will be! The Angels over Sandpoint invite you to our 3rd annual Lazy .08K! All of the proceeds go to help those in need in Bonner County. Saturday, August 20th @ MickDuff's Beer Hall, check-in starts at 12pm, kids race at 1pm, followed by the adults. *KID FRIENDLY- Replace all beer references below with root beer* DETAILS You know the drill from the past years, but this year we have a change to the course (you might actually want to train a bit for this one!) Check in starts at 12pm @ MickDuff's Beer Hall. Runners will hydrate before the start of the race with only the highest quality beer. Make sure you get there on time so you have time to hydrate appropriately. The course will be across the street in the Bonner General Hospital parking lot. Yea, we said it- it will be longer than .08k this year, sorry folks! The runners will face numerous obstacles they will have to overcome throughout the course. But don't worry you'll be able to reload on your carbs half way through. And, for those thinking... "Wow, I can't even run .08K, how the heck am I going to run an entire block!?" don't you worry. Those big spenders who opt for VIP treatment don't even have to break a sweat. Racers who cross the finish line will be able to celebrate their victory, have pictures taken, enjoy some music and hopefully some more beer (it's for charity you guys, come on)! General entry is $25. This includes a pre-race beer and your swag bag. VIP entry is $50. You folks that love your community way more than everyone else, get a pre and post-race beer, the special VIP treatment, transportation across the course (who wants to actually run that far) and a VIP swag bag. Because this is a fundraiser for those in need in Bonner County we want you to stick around as long as possible! There will be music, food on site, and additional games.
