BOSTON — Campus police released a statement saying they are looking into two incidents that occurred at Boston University Friday night. The first incident was reported close to midnight on Friday. An unfamiliar man forced his way into the apartment of a BU student before sexually assaulting them. The student was able to fight the man off, police said. The second incident, reported just a few minutes later, involved three students who said an unfamiliar man "aggressively followed" them and offered them a ride in their gray or silver Ford pickup truck. Descriptions of the suspect from both incidents are similar, and police say they're looking into whether the events are related. University police are encouraging anyone who thinks they might know something to call the BUPD at (617) 353-2121 or text 'BU' to TIP411 (847911).
