WESTFIELD, NJ — Two minors reported that they were assaulted by another group of minors at Mindowaskin Park in Westfield on Friday, May 13, according to Westfield Police Department's most recent police blotter. The two victims told police there were approximately six male minors who attacked them. When they were approached by the group, insults were exchanged leading to the assault, according to the report. The suspects fled the area after the fighter and were not located, police said. Neither victim had any signs of injury or required medical attention.
