From July 18th through July 22nd, Progressive Martial Arts Academy in Oak Ridge, TN will be hosting our 7th Annual Martial Arts Summer Camp! We are so excited to announce not one but TWO summer camps this year: 5 Animals of Kenpo Summer Camp @ PMA Oak Ridge July 18th-July 22nd, 9 AM - 1 PM Jedi Training Camp @ PMA Knoxville July 25th - July 29th, 9 AM - 1 PM The camp is open to non-students as well as current PMA students and will be discounted for students already training at PMA. Both of these camps are for ages 6 & up and will be led by PMA's owner/chief instructor, David Corrigan. These summer camps never disappoint! The tuition for all students includes a 2022 PMA Summer Camp t-shirt, as well as a snack to be provided every day of camp. This is the event page for the "5 Animals of Kenpo" Summer Camp at PMA Oak Ridge. The students will spend time working on some of the most important martial arts skills and techniques from the various martial arts we teach at PMA. Each of the animals represents different qualities and fighting styles a martial artist needs to work on - Monday - Tiger (Power, Strategy, Straightforward Movement)Tuesday - Snake (Flexibility, Strength, Attacking Vital Areas, Grappling)Wednesday - Crane and Movie Day! (Balance, Attacking Balance of Others, Strong Arms)Thursday - Leopard (Speed, Agility, Fast Hands)Friday - Dragon and Water War! (Indomitable Spirit, Kicking, Advanced Movement, Combining Skills of All Other Animals)All snacks will be nut-free, but are currently TBA... This year we will be offering a family discount of 50% for every additional family member after the first, and after 4 it's free! This camp will be limited to 20 students.
