From July 25-July 29, Progressive Martial Arts Academy will be hosting our 1st Martial Arts Summer Camp at our new Knoxville location! We are so excited to announce not one but TWO summer camps this year: 5 Animals of Kenpo Summer Camp @ PMA Oak Ridge July 18th - July 22nd, 9 AM - 1 PM Jedi Training Camp @ PMA Knoxville July 25th - July 29th, 9 AM - 1 PM The camp is open to non-students as well as current PMA students and will be discounted for students already training at PMA. Both of these camps are for ages 6 & up and will be led by PMA's owner/chief instructor, David Corrigan. These summer camps never disappoint! The tuition for all students includes a 2022 PMA Summer Camp t-shirt, as well as a snack to be provided every day of camp. This is the event page for the "Jedi Training Camp" at PMA Knoxville. The students will spend time working on valuable and real martial arts and life skills all themed around Jedi Knight training in Star Wars. Here is a temporary schedule, subject to change as we continue planning the details of each day. Monday - Coruscant (Formal Padawan Training at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant)Tuesday - Dagobah (Travel to a swamp to find the ancient Jedi Master Yoda and continue your training)Wednesday - Ilum (Travel to the planet Ilum to find your kyber crystal needed to build your lightsaber)Thursday - Coruscant (Back to Coruscant to build your lightsaber and learn the basics of your new weapon)Friday - Hoth (Bring Your Lightsaber and Blasters, the rebels need you!)All snacks will be nut-free, but are currently TBA... This year we will be offering a family discount of 50% for every additional family member after the first, and after 4 it's free! This camp will be limited to 20 students.
