Mayor Scott Singer recently presented proclamations alongside Recreation Services Director Michael Kalvort for Kids to Parks Day and National Water Safety Month.
View the Kids to Parks Day Proclamation (PDF) May 21, 2022 is the 12th annual Kids to Parks Day, a national day of outdoor play launched by the National Park Trust. Kids and families are encouraged to explore the outdoors by visiting one of the many local parks in the city and to lead more active lifestyles.
The City of Boca Raton Recreation Services Department operates and maintains 1,530 acres of parkland, including 47 parks, 29 playgrounds and miles of beachfront parks for the entire community to enjoy every day.
Celebrate the day by visiting one of the City's parks and playgrounds or beaches on May 21 and make some great memories!
