Two great ways to preserve fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Learn to make fruit leather and beef jerky, too! Join us for the 2022 home food preservation workshop series held at Cooperative Extension, 193 Callahan Koon Road in Spindale, NC. Four workshops are available: May 26 Pressure Canning, June 8 Boiling Water Canning, July 12 Freezing & Dehydrating, August 9 Fermentation. The first workshop on May 26 from 9:00 - 12:00 will cover the basics of home food preservation and pressure canning instruction. Continue learning various methods of food preservation throughout the series.
