Creating a business is easy. Building a great, sustainable company is not! Startup Boot Camp will help you improve your odds of successfully launching, growing, and funding a startup or small business venture. This Boot Camp, hosted by Salve Regina University and led by the Office of Graduate and Professional Studies in conjunction with Innovate Newport, is a two-and-a-half-day hands-on workshop for entrepreneurs and those interested in starting a business. Attendees will learn about developing a business and raising money for their venture through a combination of lectures and work sessions (individual and group). Attendees will also be provided access to the Founders Academy video series in preparation for the workshop. Startup Bootcamp will be led by Gordon Daugherty, a best-selling author, seasoned business executive, entrepreneur, startup advisor, and investor. Gordon is the co-founder and president of Austin’s Capital Factory. Over the years, Gordon has given personal advice to several hundred entrepreneurs, and more than 4,000 startup founders have completed his Founders Academy boot camp. He has published more than 150 startup advice articles and is the producer of a video library with 50 streaming titles of educational content for startup founders.
