Innovation Series 6: Ocean State Sensing In an effort to support the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region, The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce is pleased to partner with Innovate Newport to offer this 6-session BlueTech Innovation Series. During this spring 2022, the BlueTech Innovation Series brings together Rhode Island’s leading startup companies focused on “blue” technologies to network and showcase their cutting edge technologies. Each week, a different company will showcase their work, with time to network following their presentation. This week features Ocean State Sensing, an engineering and consulting company that specializes in underwater thermal sensing and mapping, ocean engineering services, and project management. Our services include high-resolution, continuous, in-situ sensing services, instrumentation, and integration. Our mission is to provide high fidelity sensing services in the aquatic environment; through sound ocean engineering and project management practices; to improve the in-situ understanding of the ecosystem, enabling greater stewardship across the hydrosphere.
