Description
All interviewees welcome, regardless of gender or political identity. I'm looking for responses to the following questions:
Do you have any important memories having to do with gender, such as when certain ideas regarding gender were presented to you? (Your experiences when you realized/decided you were nongender are welcome too, of course!)
What do you think is the relationship between attraction and gender roles?
What are some things you do or avoid doing in order to fit within your gender role?
What gender double standard bothers you the most?
Do you have any memories of feeling very masculine? Why do you think those experiences made you feel that way?
Do you have any memories of feeling very feminine? Why do you think those experiences made you feel that way?
There is a couple who is raising their child without a gender, preferring to let them decide for themselves as they grow older. Do you have any reaction to this?
Past interviews have taken a bit over an hour. I'm most interested in meeting in person, but willing to conduct the interview over Zoom as well. I live near UC Berkeley and have a car.
