Previous job-site experience is required and an understanding of construction methods, tools, and equipment. You’ll work with a close-knit team of other skilled laborers and tradesmen to bring construction plans to life. Responsibilities
Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as survey equipment, jackhammers, and forklifts as needed
Tear down old structures
Load, unload, and transfer tools and building materials such as lumber, tile, saws, sheetrock, grout, etc.
Aid tradesmen, sub-contractors and craft workers such as painters, roofers, plasterers, carpenters, and electricians, as necessary
Work on up to 6 projects at a time doing various tasks as needed (trim carpentry, drywall, painting, and punch-out work)
One plus years' experience
Maintain daily log sheet of work performed at various locations
Read and understand the punch list to fully grasp the requirements
Hands-on experience in working with various materials
Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
Maintain a clean and professional job site
Take measurements and calculate the size and quantities of materials needed
Keeps project manager updated with the progress of the job
Hands-on experience in working with various materials
Qualifications
•Valid driver’s license
•Reliable means of transportation
• Good work Ethic
• Bonus if bilingual Spanish speaker
• Ability to work 30-40 hours a week, sometimes after hours or weekends
