BROOKFIELD, CT — The registration deadline for the annual J. Marsicano and F. Cioffi Memorial Candlewood Lake Clean-Up is Wednesday. The clean-up, organized by the Candlewood Lake Authority, is scheduled for Saturday. Boat captains must provide their own crews, and CLA will not be matching crew members to boat captains. Captains and crews should pick up their materials (including bags, gloves, and additional instructions) between 8-10 a.m. at the New Fairfield Town Park boat launch. Volunteers will return around noon to unload their trash at the ramp and come up to the park, where lunch will be available. In addition to signing up themselves, boat captains must also have every member of their crew sign a waiver form. Registration and a copy of the waiver may be found online here.
