TOUR HOST BIO: Sue Flaherty is a Pitt alumna and an outdoor enthusiast who collects random factoids. She has been a volunteer for DOORS OPEN Pittsburgh at the Downtown event and for special events such as the “Ride With the King” and “Freedom Seekers: Underground Railroad” bus tours. Before becoming a tour host with DOORS OPEN Pittsburgh, Sue volunteered with Visit Pittsburgh. As a Trip Leader for Venture Outdoors, she led and assisted on kayak trips and trail walks. Sue is a Jefferson Award Recipient for volunteer work.
