Delegal Landscapes, Inc., a family-run, full-service landscaping company founded more than 15 years ago is looking for an Experienced Landscape Foreman crew leader to assist, plan, organize, direct, and/or coordinate activities of workers engaged in landscaping or groundskeeping activities, such as planting and maintaining ornamental trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns, according to contract specifications. We design, install and maintain the landscapes of more than 140 Savannah residences and Homeowners Associations. Our company prides itself on workmanship, attention to detail, and client relationships. Additional responsibilities include maintaining existing grounds, monitoring and training workers, supervising the use of equipment, ensuring staff observes safety guidelines and protocols, maintaining equipment, and completing various administrative duties. Leadership skills, including adeptness in problem-solving. Sound knowledge of pesticides and chemicals is also required. Landscape Foreman Responsibilities: Delegating tasks and overseeing the use of tools and equipment. Recruiting and training new crew members. Assessing progress and making recommendations. Ensuring all crew members obey health and safety regulations at all times. Completing landscape design and construction. Overseeing the maintenance of lawns and gardens, and ensuring proper use of pesticides, fertilizers, and other chemicals. Completing inventory checks and equipment inspections. Preparing spreadsheets and other documents. Providing cost, material, equipment, and time estimates. Scheduling training sessions wherever required. Coordinating work schedules and client requests with office personnel.
