The Kyte Monroe Bioswale Restoration & Maintenance project is a great opportunity to learn about protecting our watershed, native plants and how they help. It is becoming a great place to watch butterflies. The tasks needed will include weeding, watering, removing invasive plants, cleaning any trash in the bioswale and some labeling of plants. Great opportunities for anyone needing volunteer hours i.e. Master Gardeners, Master Rain Gardeners, Conservation Stewards and students. Family friendly. Bring your own clean trowel and garden gloves. We will have some extra trowels available. Refillable water bottles suggested.
