Press release from the City of Hermosa Beach: May 09, 2022 CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH NOTICE OF VACANCY The City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach is accepting applications for the following Commission: CIVIL SERVICE BOARD – One Term Expires July 15, 2026 Applicants must be a qualified elector of the City HBMC Section (2.76.070). The deadline for filing applications is 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2022. Postmarks are not accepted. Appointment will be a four-year term ending onJuly 15, 2026. All applications will be presented at the July 12, 2022 City Council meeting. The list of appointive term expiring in 2026 (which includes names of incumbent appointees, appointment dates, and eligibility for reappointment) is on file in the City Clerk's office and posted on the City's website.
