Position Summary: Assist with the installation of refrigerant piping and low voltage wiring installation to prepare equipment for start-up. Assist with the installation of low voltage controls devices. Work with project supervisor to ensure work in complete and systems are operating properly. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous HVAC, Mechanical, or Electrical experience • Strong mechanical aptitude and detail oriented • Previous welding, brazing, or soldering experience • Ability to read blue prints and wiring schematics Required Qualifications: • Valid driver license and clean driving record, insurable by company insurance • Keep job site and company vehicle clean and organized • Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times • Ability to work well independently or as a team • Follow instructions from supervisor and journeyman, and carry out in a timely manner • Must be able to work occasional evenings, weekends and staggered shifts when needed • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds consistent with trade practice • Ability to work out of town when necessary • Ability to work outside in a wide range of temperatures • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen • Must be able to work off ladders & lifts • Come to work ready to work with proper tools and attire • Desire to advance in career through apprenticeship program and on-the-job training Benefits Include: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Flexible schedule • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • Tuition reimbursement • Vision insurance • Tool account program • Opportunities for on-going training and career advancement Job Type: Full-time Salary: $15.00 to $20.00/hour depending on experience with $1000 sign on bonus Education: High school or equivalent If you're looking for more than just another job...we may have the career choice that is right for you.
