Comfort Flow Heating is looking for an experienced HVAC Install/Startup Technician to join our Controls team. Our fast-growing company offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits! Typical Work Hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday (occasional evenings, weekends and staggered shifts when needed) Position Summary: Ability to complete installation of refrigerant piping and low voltage wiring installation to prepare equipment for start-up. Responsible for the proper start-up and commissioning of a variety of HVAC mechanical systems to meet manufacturer requirements. Ensure system is running properly before completing job and customer has received training for operating system. Preferred Qualifications: • 3 + years previous HVAC experience • Familiar with the following light commercial systems: Package Units, Split Systems, VRF systems, and VAV systems • Experience with installation of conduit and low voltage wiring in a neat and professional manner • Experience with installation of refrigerant piping, brazing • Ability to read blue prints and wiring schematics • Experience with startup and commissioning of new HVAC installations Required Qualifications: • Valid driver license and clean driving record, insurable by company insurance • Keep job site and company vehicle clean and organized • Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times • Ability to work well independently or as a team • Follow instructions from supervisor and journeyman, and carry out in a timely manner • Must be able to work occasional evenings, weekends and staggered shifts when needed • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds consistent with trade practice • Ability to work out of town when necessary • Ability to work outside in a wide range of temperatures • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen • Must be able to work off ladders & lifts • Come to work ready to work with proper tools and attire • Desire to advance in career through apprenticeship program and on-the-job training Benefits Include: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Flexible schedule • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • Tuition reimbursement • Vision insurance • Tool account program • Opportunities for on-going training and career advancement License/certification(s) or ability to obtain: • Oregon Limited Energy License (LEA or LEB) • Universal EPA Certification • ORACCA Brazing Certification Job Type: Full-time Salary: $28.00 to $36.00/hour depending on experience Education: High school or equivalent If you're looking for more than just another job...we may have the career choice that is right for you.
