If you have the desire and the motivation to join our team- we would love to hear from you! Position Overview: This job is a window and door installation sub contractor crew. We are looking for another crew to schedule upcoming projects with. We work with Marvin, Pella AND Andersen windows. We strive for perfection and require our crews to maintain the highest level of craftsmanship. We provide different level of finishes for our windows and doors.... carpentry is a MUST as we install NEW window sills, casing, cove molding etc… Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Installs windows, patio doors and front entrance doors to residential homes- we use a pocket fit method AND a full tear out method of installation. Installer should be WELL versed and know how to utilize the highest standard of techniques set forth by our manufacturers. Verify window and door function with homeowner MUST keep a clean jobsite- that means drop cloths, plastic, vacuum etc… Since you are the front line, you MUST be the face of our company. Respect and courtesy with the homeowner is VERY important Meets company safety requirements by keeping work area neat and clean, following safety precautions and wearing required safety gear (i.e. shoes, safety glasses, fall protection, etc.), and must report any safety concerns or issues to Five One Eight Contracting staff immediately · Minimum of 3 years of experience installing windows and doors · · 3 years of carpentry & residential construction experience preferred · · You MUST have your own crew, truck, and tools.. this includes a metal brake · · PERFECT finishing and caulking skills · · Lead safe certification is a plus, but not required. · · Insured (Worker’s Comp & General Liability) · · Ability to Multi-Task/Work Under Pressure · · Must be able to work Saturdays if need be We perform background checks on all candidates.
