last-minute voters at Belmont library

Description

This is kinda nutty, but I have nothing to lose…. We were last-minute voters who crossed paths just before 8pm 5/17 outside the Belmont public library. You had just dropped off your ballot and walked by me as I walked up the steps to deliver my ballot plus a couple books. When I fumbled my ballot at book drop, I immediately turned around — partly because I didn't know where I my ballot flew off to, and partly to see if anyone (namely you) noticed my clumsiness. And, sure enough, it seemed you were looking straight at me from the sidewalk, just before riding your bicycle across Cesar Chavez, heading west by yourself down SE Yamhill. You had eye-catching curly red hair (it was kind of a deep red, and it was short-to-medium-length) — and, you had cute rosy red cheeks to match! You wore a multi-colored bike helmet. Also, I *think* you were wearing a denim skirt (maybe with light colored leggings?) and your bicycle had a box/basket attached. I had brown hair, messily parted on the left, shortish at the moment (recent haircut), and blue eyes. I was wearing faded blue jeans, with dark red/maroon sneakers, and a very noticeable paisley shirt (gold w/ blue & red), untucked, over a white t-shirt. Oh, and I am 5'10" and 160lbs, if that helps. I would love to meet you for a walk, or a cup of coffee (or tea, if you prefer). Who knows, we might end up being friends. In any case, you really caught my eye, and I am very curious about you. If you see this, please respond. (And if anyone reading this thinks they might know this woman — very cute, curly red hair, fair skin — please make sure she sees this post, just in case. Thanks!) Steve
