2 year old Male German Shepherd. Please don’t waste our time (yours and mine) if you have no knowledge of this breed. I took on this sweet boy a few weeks ago. I was told he is an average sized male shepherd with basic training knowledge. He is house broke and is an in/out dog. Being familiar with the breed, I love to work with them and train to prevent this breed ending up in shelters or worse. Sadly this poor sweet boy, is an example of why people should not have animals they know nothing about! He is not house broke. The looks of the tips of his ears, he was solely and outside dog. He is not average sized … he is huge. Probably 110# if I had to guess. He has had no training. He is so big and strong, I have no control without a training collar. This is a prime example why training and boundaries must start at a young age…. Now at the age of 2 you have a strong untrained dog with no knowledge of boundaries. What’s sad about this situation, it’s no fault of his own. He’s got the sweetest personality and just loves people and attention!! I would love to keep him and work with him … however I just took on a new position and this sweet boy needs a consistent routine. A good home with knowledge of the breed a must!
