This is a group of like minded NE Oklahoma musicians with a general influence of Old Time music. We shave jams and sessions, for the betterment of Traditional instrumental music in the NE Oklahoma (Tulsa, OK) a.k.a. Green Country Oklahoma area. The group meets at the Silver Dollar Cafe in Collinsville, OK from 5:30-9 pm on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. This group seeks to be very open to those learning the music. Playing from sheet music will be allowed and, well, maybe even encouraged if that helps with the learning process! We seek to teach and to learn, and to also provide a venue for the public to take an interest in the music. We do request acoustic and traditional instruments only be played. Players and listeners are welcome!
