Join our team at Worldwide Flight Services in Windsor Locks, CT. • Current openings for Warehouse Cargo & Ramp Service Agents. • Starting pay $17.75/hour. • Full time and Part time positions. • Shift available 11:30pm-8am. Weekends required. • Benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental. Responsibilities include (but not limited to): • Loading & unloading of cargo (mail, express, baggage, freight and company material) on and off trucks & aircraft. • Transporting of cargo between Freighter and Passenger stands where required. • Handling of cargo warehousing and ramp activities, including receiving, dispatching and staging airfreight, and mail. • Operating motorized vehicles as related to the task from GPU’s and tugs towing up to 80,000lbs. Cleaning of work areas, equipment, and facilities. Required Skills/Experience • At least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. • Valid drivers license. • Must pass a Drug Test and Background Screen • Ability to work flexible working hours required, occasional overtime hours will be required. • Ability to lift packages weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights. • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the warehouse/ walk for up to 10 hours a day. • Ability to successfully communicate with others. • Ability to work in a high-noise level environment. Must be able to hear the audible safety notifications. • Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without, assistance of sight or visual aids. • Must be able to undertake any additional training to complement the operation.
