We are seeking a Part-Time Cleaner to join our team at a large, mixed-use (commercial, industrial, and residential) building in Holyoke. Job is 20 hours per week, mornings 7am - 11am (must be able to work within these hours). Responsibilities: GENERALLY: ~Cleaning rest rooms; Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors/carpets; Dusting and sanitizing desks and counter tops; Cleaning windows and glass surfaces; Removing trash and recycling; Set up tables and chairs for events ~Keep all common areas in sanitary and orderly condition ~Maintain a high level of quality and cleanliness in keeping spaces presentable and comfortable for all tenants ~Perform special cleaning projects as needed ~Show care for general environmental safety and well-being of all tenants and employees ~Monitor condition of all spaces and building areas and report anything that needs attention ~Take ownership of assigned custodial closets, supplies, and building areas ~Maintain working condition of equipment with help of maintenance crew ~Keep track of work orders and tasks completed using our interactive platform (on a smart phone or computer) Qualifications: ~PUNCTUALITY AND RELIABILITY ARE A MUST ~Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields ~Ability to handle physical workload, which includes a lot of walking (it's a big building) ~Must be a reliable person with a "can-do/no problem" attitude ~Strong attention to detail ~Strong organizational skills ~Must be able to work on ladders and lift up to 75 lbs ~Must be hardworking, honest, and friendly ~Ability to maintain confidentiality when the time calls for it ~Be willing to work as part of a fun, hardworking team Please send us a message including your resume (you will need one to be considered, even if it's short), with name, phone number, and email address.
