Description
The University of New Haven is looking for 20 community members aged 16 and up to serve as volunteers for the new program COASTS. Those selected will take part in a three-month training course led by experts in the ecology and policy surrounding Long Island Sound. Trainings will be around 2 hours a week with 5 all day field days. Following the training volunteers will then lead community events and professional development workshops to spread their knowledge further within the community.
