We are seeking a shipping and receiving lead to facilitate various job shop related tasks as well as some driving and deliveries as needed. This person is responsible for interfacing with our local customers, being detail oriented, and a team player. As an shipping lead, you will be working on a fast paced, close knit team that is always moving and customer focused. Job Type: This is a 40 hour per week position Day Shift: Monday thru Friday, 6:30 AM- 3:00 PM Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ability to manage multiple activities and prioritize daily schedule Communicate effectively (spoken and written) to managers, customers and vendors Local driving of company vehicles Simple arithmetic and math skills Assist Office personnel in various administrative tasks and errands as needed Package parts and coordinate shipping arrangements Learn and Drive forklift All other duties as assigned Qualifications: Excellent communication, ability to work well with others Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to lift 40 lbs Education/Experience High School diploma or (GED); or one to three months related experience or training Larkin Precision is an equal opportunity employer, all qualified applicants considered regardless of ethnicity, nationality, gender, veteran or disability status, age, religion or other protected status Drug Free workplace, random testing, including testing for marijuana use Job Type: Full time, permanent position with excellent benefits, NOT SEASONAL Benefits include: Paid Time off (2 weeks+), Holiday Pay, 401K Company Match, Medical/Dental Insurance, Quarterly Profit Sharing BONUS Pay: $18-22 hourly DOE, + Quarterly PROFIT SHARE BONUS, 90 performance review and adjustment
