Hi there! I want to rehome Marley into the care of dog lover who can assume responsibility and take ownership. I am needing to move into a new place and cannot take my second dog, Marley. She is an amazingly loving dog, who loves to run and play fetch or tug-o-war! She is a Brown Labrador mix with Chesapeake retriever, 1 yr 4 months old now, she is spayed and microchipped and this information along with vet records can be provided. I want to work with the new owner/family and give you a "trial period" - if Marley is not a good fit for you or your family then please return to my care. This trial period we can negotiate depending on when I am available. She is good with other dogs who are friendly, and Marley currently lives with another dog (older than her). Her and the older dog get along great and bond with each other. Marley was attacked by another dog when she was 6 months old and she is sometimes afraid of other dogs still but this is improving drastically (she interacts with other dogs at park x4 week). IMPORTANT: Marley needs a home with access to big yard AND/OR lots of playtime (she is in playful phase) and attention (she loves LOVE!) Marley is house trained, kennel trained (does prefer to sleep with owner at night though), and knows basic commands (sit, stay, come). She loves to play fetch, knows ball commands for fetch. If you are interested in meeting Marley then can meet at local dog park. She will need some time to warm up to you, but as soon as she does, she will never leave your side. She needs someone who is patience, kind, lover of dogs, and loves cuddles. She is an outdoorsy type of dog, loves playtime in cool weather, has been on trial walks in the mountains, and would be IDEAL for a hunter/camper/outdoor activities owner. Lots of energy for playtime, go to park 4x times week. If you leave her at home alone, then trial period is recommended. I am willing to work with new owner and give Marley up at NO COST, she deserves a good home and that is PRICELESS! Serious replies only! I can send more pictures of her as well.
