I need a helper at the upcoming Lancaster Book Sale on Monday May 23. The sale starts at 7 am, so you must be on site by 6:30 am. The book sale is held in the former Bon Ton anchor store at the Park City mall. The sale is very fast paced - especially during the first hour. I will be gathering books that I need to purchase and you will need to carry them over to an area off to the side. Hopefully, this will be hundreds of books that need to be moved to the holding area - they need to be handled with care so that they are not damaged during transit. In all likelihood, I will not need you past 10 am, but no matter what happens, I guarantee you a 4 hour minium ($80 total). If the sale is particularly good, I might need you to continue helping through 11 am or 11:30 am. The work is not very difficult, but it is very frenetic and crowded during the first hour or so. You will need to be able to assist me in a crowded environment as hundreds of other shoppers are also scooping up books. You must be local to the general Lancaster area and you absolutely must be certain that you can be at the entrance by 6:30 am. Arriving late is not an option for this particular gig.
