If anyone is interested in a neutered male retriever mix, 2.6 years old, house broken, good with kids, good with cats, good with other dogs BUT I think he does need no dogs or just 1. He seems to want to be the center of attention and that is just a little more than I have to give currently. I rescued him from this Texas heat as he was tied to a tree, abandoned at my local Walmart. I am waiting the legal 5 days and even in contact with chip company for his rightful owners but this is day 3 and no response. I would like to rehome him to someone who has the time and he would make the perfect service dog if given the chance. So far I have 3 commands down in just 2 days work so I know this little boy would be amazing for someone with the time and means to take care of him. I'm not sure if the person previously interested is still so I'm getting the word out :) I am looking for someone that can take on the responsibility and be sure they take care of getting his bill of health from vet so you can send that Official Letter to where he is chipped to have him in your name. Time is of the essence. I do not want to have to give him to ACS cause they are booked and full putting a very good dog at risk. Thank you.
